Dr. J. Korey Harris is a dedicated Chiropractic Physician and the founder of Peak Chiropractic Health and Wellness, proudly serving patients across Helena, Hoover, Bessemer, the Greater Birmingham area, Tuscaloosa, and Northport through two convenient locations. With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Korey has built a reputation for delivering exceptional chiropractic care while empowering patients through education in holistic health and wellness. He has been recognized as the "Best in Alabama" and is the recipient of the 2025 Alabama Chiropractor of the Year Award, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Dr. Korey specializes in the treatment of neck pain, back pain, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, digestive issues, neuropathy, and tingling or numbness in the upper and lower extremities. His expertise also extends to pediatric care, prenatal and postnatal care, sports optimization, sports injuries, functional movement, nutrition, and comprehensive wellness care—allowing him to serve patients across all stages of life with a personalized, results-driven approach.

An Alabama native with a deep passion for improving lives, Dr. Korey takes pride in supporting his community and helping individuals and families live healthier, more fulfilling lives. The expansion of Peak Chiropractic Health and Wellness into the Tuscaloosa and Northport communities marks a significant milestone in his mission to make high-quality, patient-centered care more accessible across the state. The original office, located on Morgan Road between Bessemer, Helena, and Hoover sits just half a mile off I-459 (Exit 6), while the newest location, Peak West, is conveniently located on McFarland Boulevard near Indian Hills Country Club and Northport Medical Center.

Dr. Korey earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Alabama and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He is committed to ongoing professional development, with advanced training in musculoskeletal care, neurology, and specialized chiropractic care for prenatal and pediatric populations. He is an active member of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society, the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the Alabama State Chiropractic Association.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Korey was honored to serve on the USA Olympic National Team Medical Staff, supporting elite athletes at the highest level of competition. He has also contributed his time and resources to numerous civic and charitable organizations, including St. Francis of Assisi University Parish, Church of the Highlands, Empowered to Conquer, Bama Softball Walk-off Club, and Holy Spirit Catholic School.

Outside of practice, Dr. Korey enjoys spending time with his bride and three children, family, being outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
